This year has been quite a creative one for me. I have mentioned time and again, how my hobbies keep me sane.
I remember my childhood days, how distracted I used to be during studies, would feel hungry, thirsty, visit the loo, pester mom and so many other things. But when I sat down, painting something, I would sit undisturbed for hours. I miss the appreciation that Dad used to give to my art work. He had a few paintings framed (which weren’t even all that good), showed off the stuff I made to people and never once stopped me from trying anything!
Today I went over the pictures, taken during the year and realized that I worked on a variety of things and saw them to completion, not just let them hibernate. I am a jack of all trades, not a master in any. But I think I do fairly good job, in whatever I take up. Also, I like the variety in there – sketching, sewing, knitting, crochet, stained glass work.
So here’s a collage of my creative projects in 2018. Hopefully I can add a couple of more pictures to these, before the year closes. I have some work in progress. I hope 2019 is equally productive, if not more.
